This session is not about who you were. It’s not about who you think you should be.
It’s about who you are. Right now. In this skin. In this chapter.
No professional hair and makeup team. No ring lights and glamour shots. Just you — in a safe, quiet studio with a photographer who genuinely wants to hear your story.

Empowerment Sessions are for women navigating a significant moment in their lives. You might be:
- Starting over after separation or divorce
- Recovering from illness or surgery
- Turning 40, 50 or 60 and realising you have no photos of just you
- A mum who’s lost herself somewhere inside motherhood
- Simply ready to stop hiding from the camera
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before your session We’ll have a relaxed Zoom chat so I can learn a little about you — where you’re at, what this session means to you and what you’d like to feel when you see your photos.
On the day Come as you are. Style yourself however feels right — whether that’s your favourite jeans and a white tee or something that’s been sitting in your wardrobe waiting for an occasion. I’ll guide you through every pose.
After your session We will book a private Zoom Design & Ordering Appointment where we’ll go through your images together. This is where you choose the pieces you’d like to keep — prints, wall art, digital files.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Your Empowerment Session includes everything you need to feel comfortable, supported and completely yourself:
- A 15–20 minute pre-session Zoom consultation — so I can hear your story and we can plan your session together
- A 1-hour studio session at my Wentworth Falls studio in the Blue Mountains
- Up to 3 outfit changes
- Expert posing guidance throughout (you don’t need to know what to do — that’s my job)
- A personal design and ordering appointment to view your images and choose your favourites
- A $300 Wall Art & Album credit
Session fee: $149
You choose and pay for your artwork after your viewing — no packages to commit to upfront, no pressure.
A NOTE FROM KRISTY
I didn’t create these sessions as a business idea. I created them because I needed one.
After years of failed IVF, a second chronic illness diagnosis and the slow, quiet experience of not recognising myself anymore — I realised I had no photos of who I am now. Plenty of me behind the camera. Plenty of me holding other people’s babies. None of just me.
So I turned the camera around.
And that changed everything.
FAQs
Do I need professional hair and makeup?
No. These sessions are about you as you are. Style yourself in whatever makes you feel like you. If that’s a full face of makeup you’ve done yourself, great. If it’s bare skin, equally great.
Is this boudoir photography?
No — but it can include an intimate element if that’s something you want. We’ll talk about it in your pre-session Zoom consultation.
What should I wear?
Bring up to 3 outfits. I’ll give you guidance during our Zoom chat, but the short answer is: wear what makes you feel like yourself, not what you think a photographer wants to see.
What if I'm not photogenic?
Nobody thinks they are. That’s exactly why expert posing guidance is built into every session. You don’t need to know what to do — you just need to show up.
How much will I spend in total?
Your session fee is $149. After your viewing, most women invest between $1,200 and $2,000 on their artwork, but your $300 credit is included and there’s no minimum spend.
Where is the studio?
I’m based in Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains, servicing Penrith, western Sydney and the greater Sydney area.
Do you do weekends?
I do shoot one Saturday a month, however please be advised that I am often booked out months in advance
